EMDR Consultation

EMDR consultation is a collaborative relationship for mental health clinicians seeking to further develop their confidence in practicing the EMDR model with their clients. I am an EMDRIA approved consultant in training, which means our consultation hours will count directly towards your basic training requirements or EMDR Certification.

  • Consultation doesn’t have to be exclusive to EMDR- it can also be helpful for clinicians seeking ongoing support around complex trauma cases, or looking to build their private practice.
  • My main experience is in working with queer, trans, mixed, black, indigenous people of color (BIPOC) clients who suffer from a range of complexities including childhood sexual trauma, addiction, spiritual abuse, eating disorders, racial trauma and dissociative disorders.
  • I practice a relational style of EMDR that integrates, IFS/parts work, somatic, and mindfulness techniques.
  • I am also trained in specialized EMDR protocols such as the Flash Technique and the DETUR addiction protocol which are helpful alternatives when clients feel overwhelmed by the standard protocol.
  • I provide both virtual individual and group consultation for mental health clinicians internationally.

Culturally Informed Supervision

I am now accepting new Professional Counselor Associates who are seeking to meet their supervision licensure requirements in the state of Oregon (Washington and California coming Spring 2025). I practice a relational, anti-racist approach to supervision and have over 30 hours of culturally specific supervision training. I work best with Queer, Trans, Mixed race, Asian/Pacific Islander, Black, Indigenous, and counselors of color. I hope to provide a collaborative, respectful space for associates seeking to talk openly about how race and discrimination has affected their clients, their communities and themselves.
